A few weeks ago, I wrote about how to store ginger: in the garden where it keeps growing. When you need it for a recipe, you can dig it up, break off a piece and then rebury it. I don’t remember where I learned this, though probably from my friend Brett. I’ve never been methodical about the process and it’s always worked.
